Q: How do I make a PHP/Nuke web page?

A: You don't.
You beg someone who knows how, to do it for you.
Then you let the site own you. When something goes wrong with it, you can't fix it yourself so you have to rely on the kindness of others. You can't do "what you want" because you have to live within the limits of what the program says you can do. You end up running HTML pages outside the PHP/Nuke system anyway, just because there are some things you want to do and can not within the program.

So why get involved with this beastie?
Any CMS (Content Management System) is going to force you to live inside its set up, just like one of those "ready made, easy to make pages without any HTML knowledge" sites. People use them and then get frustrated because they still need to learn HTML code just to do what they want on the "easy" page they created in minutes.
If you want a system that auto sorts your pages and does other nifty things, you need a CMS.
They are wonderful to use once you get used to them, and after established, they can be a great resource.

Use this as a guideline:
Make an HTML page if you are a beginner.
Make a PHP/Nuke page if you will have over 3,000 secondary pages.

Read the information at these two links before you decide.*

PHP/Nuke Tech Manual:

Once you understand all that and can get the new system online, on your server, then read this…
